异兽是所有类目里最容易崩的一类，崩的方式高度集中：肢体数量不稳。多一条腿、多一个头、尾巴分叉——这些在写实风格下尤其明显。所以第一句要写死数量：「双螯、八足与单一毒尾」比「一只巨大的蝎子」可靠得多。 接着写体态比例。「四足体态」「约四头身比例」这类词会把模型从人形拉回兽形；缺了它，半人半兽的设定十有八九出来是穿着毛皮的人。 皮肤与覆盖物单独一段：鳞甲、硬皮、羽毛的反光完全不同，混着写模型会自己调和成一种塑料质感。 如果这只异兽有典籍出处，把名字连同它的典型标志一起写（「上古鸾鸟、五彩鸡形神鸟」）。名字本身对模型没有约束力，起作用的是后面那半句。
